A Five-Year Deal Worth $112 Million
A Four-Year Contract Worth $112 Million
T.J. Watt and the Pittsburgh Steelers have agreed to terms on a four-year extension worth more than $112 million. The deal includes a $35,593,470 signing bonus, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Watt's previous contract with the Steelers was set to expire after the 2021 season.
Watt, 26, is one of the NFL's most dynamic pass rushers. He has recorded at least 13 sacks in each of the past three seasons, and he was named the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year in 2021. The Steelers are hoping that Watt can continue to be a key part of their defense for years to come.
